  • Power Supply and Water Supply

    The town is being serviced by the Quezon Electric Cooperative or QUEZELCO for its power needs with approximately 85% of energization.

    Main sources of potable water are the underground water (deep wells) in the urban area and the numerous natural springs and watershed areas in the rural areas. A pipe water system under the Atimonan Water District services six (6) barangays and the poblacion.

  • Transportation and Communication

    Maharlika highway traversed the municipality. It is a national road, which extends up to Matnog-Sorsogon-Manila and vice versa. The accessibility of this road network augment the link of inter regional and provincial movements.

    Port of Atimonan and the municipal wharf service the island municipalities of Alabat, Perez, Patnanungan, Jomalig and nearby municipalities in the delivery of goods and services.

    The municipality is also being traversed by a 4.7 km Railroad by the Philippine National Railway.

    Communication facilities includes two (2) telephone landline systems, General Telephone System and Digitel Telecommunications of the Philippines, Inc.; Smart Communications and Globe Tower Communications, DOTC Telecom Services and Postal Office located at Barangay Tagbakin.

    Information systems are provided by two (2) local radio stations and a cable television company beaming local and international channels into the town.
