| Atimonan is a coastal municipality located 175 kilometers south of Manila and a 45-minute drive from the Provincial Capital City of Lucena.
Pagbilao bound it on the west, north by Lamon Bay, on the east by Plaridel, on the south by Unisan. It has a total land area of 24,475 hectares with approximately 88% devoted to agriculture and the rest are subdivided to built-up area, forest and other land uses.
It is situated on a rolling terrain with slope ranging from 0-3% to 18% and above, the highest point of eleveation is located at the Quezon National Park at 426.8 m or 1,400 ft. above sea level.
Its climate is of the Third Type as per Classification of PAG-ASA and soil types are Bolinao Clay Loam, Bantay Clay Loam, Siain Silt Loam and Catanuan Clay Loam as per Soil Report of the Bureau of Soils.
